  • Girl Zone   Teen webzine publishes articles on body image, fitness, volunteering, career, travel, and shopping. Enter a contest or submit work.

  • Resources, information and exciting opportunities for girls 8 to 18 at Girls Can Do!

  • Girls Inc is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold (former Girls Clubs).

  • The Official White House Website. Virtual tour of the White House, send an e-mail to the President, find out about First Lady and more!

  • Fun stuff just for Kids at the White House!  Read biographies on the President and Vice President.  Check out the Lessons on Liberty and more! 

  • Girl Power! Lots of great information just for girls from the Department of Health.

  • Travel to Paris!  Lots of information on this site - you have a choice of going to the full graphics version which takes a while to download (but looks great!)  Includes shop listings, photo tours, event calendar, map with attractions and details about each.

  • A Paris Visitor site in English.  Pictures and information about famous places and a bit of their history.

  • At Magic Paris you can find the links, then check out the photos and the 360-degree views along the Champs Elysees.

  • The official site of the Paris Tourist Office, click on the American/British Flag for the English version of the site.

  • Currency conversion online.  The latest bankers rates.  We will be using the EURO in 2002!

  • Shopping at Galeries Lafayette!  Click on the language link to select English.  This store offers a fashion show twice a week in the summer!

  • Paris at night by bike?  We loved it! That's what Fat Tire Bike Tours of Paris (the former Mike's Bike Tours) offers!  The 3-4 hour tour is in English, is not strenuous, all bikes, helmets, rain gear and insurance are included. 

  • Paris Walking Tours available in English!  How about a special tour of the Paris Sewers or the Catacombs?!

  • Try Fodors mini-guide to Paris - including maps online!

  • The US Embassy in Paris website.

  • See Paris! Access to a variety of live webcams throughout Paris - even on the Eiffel Tower!
